Historical and Art Museum of the Domodedovo Urban District

The Domodedovo Historical and Art Museum was opened in 1992 and is located in the city center. The main part of the exhibits was collected by teacher and local historian O. S. Kuznetsov. Here you can see antique spinning wheels, costumes, tableware, decorative household elements, sculptures, paintings and contemporary household items, examples of fine and applied arts. In addition, the museum holds thematic events dedicated to the Patriotic Wars of 1812 and 1941-1945, as well as lessons in the region's history, geography, and literature. The exhibition is regularly supplemented with works by students of the Domodedovo Art School and private collections. The museum contains many interesting exhibits that will attract attention and introduce visitors to the city's history and culture.
