The exhibition 'A Wreath for the Manor Houses: The First Acquisitions of the Pereslavl Museum' is devoted not only to the vanished manor culture but also to the first Pereslavl museum workers who preserved for us the 'charm of days gone by'. The display presents artistic treasures and household items from the ruined noble estates of the Pereslavl district, part of what M.I. Smirnov and V.E. Elkhovsky managed to save from looting and destruction in the 1920s. Family portraits, furniture, porcelain, clocks, books in beautiful leather bindings, paintings in heavy frames, and family heirlooms connect us with the culture and history of the Russian manor. The exhibition was reinstalled in 2012.
