On April 25, 2024 at 7:00 PM, the theatre-concert hall stage of the State Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky will host the concert program "Music and Songs from Films" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Mosfilm film studio.
Vladimir Vysotsky, over his more than twenty-year career, appeared in 28 films. He gained wide recognition for his role in the film "Vertical" (Odessa Film Studio, 1967). At the Mosfilm studio Vladimir Vysotsky appeared in 13 films.
Here are some well-known films featuring Vladimir Vysotsky at Mosfilm: "Peers" (1959); "Shore Leave" (1962); "The Living and the Dead" (1964); "On Tomorrow's Street" (1965); "Our Home" (1965); "The Cook" (1965); "Two Comrades Served" (1968); "The Master of the Taiga" (1969); "The Fourth" (1973); "The Only Road" (1974); "The Escape of Mr. McKinley" (1975); "The Tale of How Tsar Peter Married Off the Moor" (1976); "Little Tragedies" (1979).
The concert program features laureates of the International Competition "In the Name of Peace on Earth": the Russian song choir "Zhuravushka", the children’s folk ensemble "Rodnichok" of the Rodnik Children’s School of Arts (Moscow), and the duet "Good Heart of the East". Finalists of the "Shores of Hope" festival from regions across the Russian Federation will perform musical compositions and songs from films produced by Mosfilm. The program is organized by the State Vysotsky Museum together with the International Creative Assembly of the charitable foundation "Slavic Traditions".
