About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of G.N. Troepolsky. Its sections present the important stages in the life and work of the writer. Gavriil Nikolaevich began his professional career as a teacher, later worked as an agronomist, and became known as a writer and screenwriter. Troepolsky's best-known book, "White Bim Black Ear", is dedicated to Alexander Tvardovsky, with whom Gavriil Nikolaevich had a friendly relationship. The exhibition will feature original manuscripts by the writer, his letters and photographs. Among Troepolsky's lifetime editions on display will be the novellas "White Bim Black Ear", "Notes of an Agronomist", "Candidate of Sciences", "Common Sense", and the novel "Chernozem".
