The 'Homeland of V.I. Lenin' museum-reserve is a distinctive urban-planning and landscape complex located on 174 hectares in the central part of the city of Simbirsk–Ulyanovsk. It unites historical, architectural and memorial monuments. A distinguishing feature of this museum-reserve is its location in the historic center of the modern city. It includes 17 museums, the 'Na Pokrovskaya' exhibition hall and a Children's Museum Center. Here visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the old town, feel the rhythm of life and the scent of the past, and experience being participants in the events of bygone years.
