About exhibition

The exhibition presents 20 works of art — paintings and graphic works by well-known Russian masters who at various times were members of 'Mir Iskusstva'. At certain periods this association included up to 50 artists. Visitors will have the opportunity to see works by the Benois brothers, V. A. Serov, I. E. Grabar, E. E. Lansere, B. M. Kustodiev, K. P. Petrov-Vodkin, M. V. Dobuzhinsky, A. P. Ostroumova-Lebedeva, K. A. Somov and others from the collection of the Astrakhan Art Gallery named after P. M. Dogadin. Many of the artists are depicted in the sketch of a group portrait of Mir Iskusstva members created by B. M. Kustodiev (State Russian Museum, 1916–1920). For information call: +7 (8512) 51-16-29.
