Exhibition 'Krasnodar Krai 1945-1991'
About exhibition
The exhibition presents a collection of materials about the everyday life of Kuban residents in the postwar period. Recreated interiors of a rural cooperative shop (selpo), an apartment from the 1950s-60s, and a pavilion with samples of agricultural and industrial products introduce visitors to the economic and social history of the Soviet state. Younger visitors will be interested to learn about the major campaigns carried out in the 1950s-60s — 'Let's outrun Iowa!', 'Let's turn Kuban into a factory of meat and milk!', 'Let's turn Kuban into a blooming garden, and Taman into Soviet Champagne!'.
