About museum
On March 8, 1987 the Peasant Life Museum at the library was opened, which was a significant cultural event for the village and the entire district. In 1991 the building of the former kindergarten was transferred to the district department of culture, where it was decided to house the museum. In 1993 the museum received the designation 'People's' for its interesting and varied work. The founders of the museum are the couple Nikolai and Lyubov Kutepov. The museum displays 780 exhibits, which are presented in three sections. The first section contains samples of tree species; the second — hand tools such as a weaving loom, a mill, and a cauldron; and the third — household items. The museum also includes a military section with weapon models, medals, and a portrait of a Hero of the Soviet Union. The museum hosts wonderful and engaging events; visitors show great interest and admiration. One visitor called the museum 'a preserved corner of the past'.
