Voznesenovka Museum Branch named after N. S. Kosov
About museum
In 2016 a decision was made to create the Voznesenovka branch of the Ivnya Historical and Local History Museum, which by decree of the district administration was given the name of the self-taught artist N. S. Kosov. The exhibition opened on September 1, 2017 in the building of the Voznesenovka Secondary School, and the branch's head became Nina Vladimirovna Mikhaylova. Visitors can learn about the biography and personal belongings of N. S. Kosov, as well as view his paintings, graphic and photographic works, rare collections of antiques, materials about fighters for the Fatherland and outstanding workers of the village of Voznesenovka. Of particular value is the collection of materials about the former landowner and famous Russian physician Konstantin Ustimovich, who owned the village in the 19th century.
