Volodarsky District Museum Center
About museum
The Volodarsky District Museum Center was established on December 26, 1996 by a decree of the administration of the Volodarsky District of Nizhny Novgorod Region. Its collections include items reflecting the history of the district: archaeological exhibits, items related to the founding of the Seima flour-milling industry and to Nikolay Alexandrovich Bugrov, the life and work of Boris Andreevich Mokrousov, and much more. The museum center provides services for holding themed events, organizes master classes, etc. In 2010 it was included in the register of tourism industry entities of Nizhny Novgorod Region. Its partners include travel companies from Dzerzhinsk and Nizhny Novgorod, local history centers, foundations supporting active recreation, and country hotels.
