Military-Historical Center 'Komandarm-33 — Mikhail Georgievich Efremov'
About museum
On June 22, 2002 the Museum of Commander Mikhail Grigoryevich Efremov was opened; it is dedicated to his biography. It exhibits rare photographs and the general's personal belongings donated by his grandson V. M. Efremov. One such item is a collar stud that M. G. Efremov acquired in China while serving as a military adviser. The museum's exhibition also includes iron safes from the Shpyrevsky Forest, in which, according to searchers, documents of the 33rd Army headquarters were likely stored, as well as a Mercedes typewriter dated 1920. They were found in 2017 by the 'Fate of a Man' search team, operating under the leadership of the president of the Interregional Charitable Public Foundation 'To Live and Remember', V. M. Melnikov.
