\r\nIn 1965 V. M. Shukshin bought the estate for his mother, M. S. Kuksina, and she lived there until 1972. The estate is located in the historic part of the village of Srostki, known as Kudelkina Gora, at the foot of Piket Mountain. Visitors can tour the residential house, the bathhouse with a summer kitchen, and the woodshed.
