On August 13, 1925, the Troitsk Local History Museum was founded in Troitsk, located in the former Siberian Bank building, constructed in 1893–1903. Currently the museum houses over 40,000 items, including documents, photographs, books, paintings, graphic works, sculptures, applied art objects, weapons and numismatics. The main exhibition introduces visitors to the history of the city of Troitsk, and the art corridor hosts traveling exhibitions by local craftsmen and artists from across Russia. The museum holds celebrations, educational lectures, and master classes in traditional crafts and contemporary handicrafts. Thus, the Troitsk Local History Museum has become an integral part of the city's cultural heritage.
