About museum

The ethnocultural center 'Zaryana' is dedicated to the study, preservation and promotion of the traditional culture of the Shilovsky district. Here you can see exhibitions by contemporary masters of decorative and applied arts, amateur artists, as well as unique ethnographic materials. The center also hosts various guided tours, interactive and entertainment programs, and master classes for people of all ages. In the 'Russian Chamber' (Russkaya gornitsa) you can become acquainted with the interior furnishings of an izba, household customs, rituals and traditional peasant cuisine. Thus, the 'Zaryana' center offers an opportunity to gain a complete understanding of the culture of the Ryazan region.
