About museum

The Ceramics Section «Grad Svetly» occupies a separate space in the building, and even as you approach it you will encounter characters from Russian fairy tales. The wooden staircase is decorated with a panel from Old Russian mythology. The museum consists of three halls. The first displays ancient Slavic symbols and heroes, as well as a real stove and the Tree of Life. The second hall, dedicated to «Holy Rus'», presents Orthodox symbols, figures of Sergius of Radonezh and Seraphim of Sarov, churches and belfries with bells that can be rung. The third hall showcases a ceramic collection reflecting various styles and directions of pottery art.
