The Republican Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve 'Ancient Ufa' was established in 2011 in the city of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan. The museum is based on an archaeological monument — the cultural heritage site of federal significance 'Ufa Settlement II', which existed from the 4th to the 14th centuries. Since 2012, annual on-site archaeological excavations have been carried out on its territory. The museum's holdings are represented in archaeological, ethnographic and natural science collections, as well as in the precious metals collection.
