The Pushkar Museum is a place where everyone can immerse themselves in the history of the old Fort Konstantin and meet its inhabitants. It features an interactive military-historical exhibition where visitors can not only view but also experience history by trying on unique items and taking photographs. On a free tour you will learn why Fort Konstantin became an experimental site and why it was nicknamed the Sailors' Sakhalin and the Katorga. The museum houses up to 300 exhibits, including cannonballs and bullets, coins, parts of fort mechanisms, photographs, diagrams, drawings and plans of the fort, as well as a forged grapnel (cat) anchor from the time of Peter the Great. Here you will learn how soldiers and officers served and lived at the fort, and discover other interesting facts from the fort's history.
