Tagansky Cultural and Recreation Park
About museum
Tagansky Park is a cozy, compact area in central Moscow covering 7.4 hectares. It was founded in 1934 at the Bukharin Club and is divided into two parts: a children's park and the main area, both located along Taganskaya Street. The park's history is linked to the names of celebrated Muscovites such as Irina Rodnina, Nikolay Ozerov, Alla Pugacheva, Konstantin Beskov, and Alexey Khomich. It has everything needed for leisure and recreation for people of all ages: a stadium with artificial turf and running tracks, a physical fitness and wellness complex, a martial arts center, a sports ground with outdoor exercise equipment and a workout area, as well as a creative center, a fountain, a children's playground with modern play structures, open-air stages, a rope park and a rental point. In the children's section of the park you can find various play areas, a children's fairy-tale theater, the V. A. Mozart Children's Music School, a sports ground, a stage, an interactive water-and-sand play area and a dry fountain.
