About museum

In the Belgorod Region, a special place is occupied by the Museum 'The Third Battlefield of Russia', dedicated to all those who defended the Motherland. It was opened in 2010 and occupies an area of 5,000 square meters. On the square in front of the museum, visitors are greeted by a composition that symbolically conveys the full tension of battle. The museum features various exhibitions and a small cinema, as well as the Peter and Paul Church and fragments of defensive fortifications. The museum's main theme is the Battle of Kursk and the famous tank battle. Here you can learn about the history of the Prokhorovsky District and see the personal belongings of participants in the fighting. An entrance ticket with a guided tour for groups of at least 5 people costs 230 rubles for adults and 120 rubles for schoolchildren and students. Admission is free for persons under 18.
