The Park of Culture and Recreation of the town of Yuzhnouralsk is a place for leisure and for holding socially significant events. It covers an area of 19.3 hectares and is distinguished by its unique natural environment. The park features century-old pines, birches and shrubs, as well as birds and mammals. It serves as a green lung and a protective screen against emissions from the GRES power plant for the residents of Yuzhnouralsk, and therefore attracts many people for recreation and for holding both annual and scheduled events.
