Oktyabrsky District Museum has for several decades meticulously collected and carefully preserved the rich and diverse historical and cultural heritage of the Oktyabrsky District of Perm Krai.

\r\nThe museum is particularly interested in items of traditional daily life of Russians, the Mari, Tatars and other peoples inhabiting the Oktyabrsky District. These include clothing, tablecloths, towels, as well as household items and tools.
\r\n
\r\nA special place is occupied by the collection of documents: employment record books and Red Army booklets, various certificates, photographs, postcards, letters, memoirs… It is precisely these that paint a fairly coherent picture of the life of an individual family, organization, settlement, and of the district as a whole.
\r\n
\r\nFamily heirlooms long kept in homes are brought to the museum; from them personal collections of the residents of the Oktyabrsky District and of those who have left a notable mark on its history are formed.
