Nikolsky Museum of Land Use named after I.S. Sharapov
About museum
The Nikolsky Museum of Land Use highlights the history of growing grain and vegetable crops, reports on the highest recorded yields, and introduces visitors to distinguished agricultural workers. Through tables, diagrams and maps you can trace the formation of collective farms, state farms, and agricultural administrations. Here you can learn about the outstanding achievements of the first tillers and study the activities of the first machine-and-tractor station. The museum also hosts interactive exhibitions; on the museum grounds there is a Yakut balagan where staff prepare oladyi (pancakes) on a small stove.
