The cultural space "Photodom" opened in July 2017.

On 230 square meters of exhibition space, photographic solo exhibitions, exchange exhibitions, and shows of citywide and nationwide scale are held on a regular basis. Focused art events evolve into long-term projects at the intersection of different art forms. Artists, sculptors and fashion designers, musicians and poets take part in festivals and vernissages. The venue hosts theatrical productions by professional and amateur troupes, discussions, book presentations, press conferences for city events, and film screenings.

Photography is one of the most immediate and accessible languages by which an artist communicates with the viewer. "Photodom", whose cultural platform places emphasis on education, offers its visitors intellectual engagement and the opportunity to find like-minded people and creative partners. In addition to paying attention to the history of Ryazan and the craft of Ryazan photographers, the museum and exhibition center is aimed at further developing the creative photographic environment, involving young photographers in its work, and is also open to creative proposals and collaboration.
