Museum and Exhibition Center 'The Gumilyov House'
About museum
On August 21, 2021, a new cultural center called 'The Gumilyov House' was opened in Bezhetsk. The Foundation for the Development of Small Historical Towns and the Gumilyov Society purchased two apartments in 2020 where Nikolai Gumilyov's family lived from 1917 to 1952. As a result of a fundraising campaign, sufficient funds were raised to carry out a complete renovation of the apartments, which was completed on the 100th anniversary of the poet's execution. Currently the center offers several exhibitions and features artists from various cities across Russia.
