About museum
Grad Kitezh Museum and Tourist Complex is a multifunctional cultural center that includes a theatre stage for various dramatic productions, an exhibition hall with rotating exhibits, and a cinema. Here you can see musical theatre productions, performances by dance ensembles and amateur groups, as well as Russian fairy tales and plays presented each year on July 6 on the shore of Lake Svetloyar. The complex also hosts nationwide and international conferences on cultural and environmental topics, festivals and other events. The building was constructed in the style of a 17th-century princely terem, and the first floor was painted by the well-known Nizhny Novgorod artist L. Kolosov. It is located on Sovetskaya (Central) Street in the village of Vladimirskoye and has convenient parking and a children's playground.
