About museum

The museum 'On the Warm Land' is dedicated to the work of the People's Artist of the USSR and honorary citizen of Tver Oblast, Valentin Sidorov. It opened on May 5, 2023, on the 95th anniversary of the artist's birth.

The museum's collection includes 92 paintings donated by Valentin Sidorov's family and patron Vladimir Nekrasov. The exhibition features paintings created at various stages of the artist's career, as well as rural household items (spinning wheels, tableware, toys) that he collected while traveling through different parts of Russia.

The museum's art basement hosts exhibitions by artists from Tver and other cities, various workshops, and literary evenings.
