Merchant P.A. Kaidalov Estate Museum
About museum
The house of merchant Kaidalov is a heritage site for the residents of Laryak and the only building in the Nizhnevartovsk district, built in the late 19th–early 20th century, that is included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Russian Federation. The estate museum was established in 2016 and opened in September 2017. The museum's goal is to preserve the heritage of the traditional culture of rural merchants of the north of Western Siberia, the settler culture of the first Russian pioneers, as well as the cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the North. Currently the museum carries out activities across all museum domains and has over 1,000 exhibits in its collection.
