Museum 'Trading Rows'
About museum
\r\nThe cultural heritage site 'Trading Rows' — an important monument of architecture and urban planning of the town of Yalutorovsk — is located in the historic centre of the town and forms a single historical and architectural ensemble with the restored Sretensky Cathedral. On December 21, 2017, the museum presented two large-scale exhibition projects. The first project is called 'My Museum — My History' and is dedicated to the history of the formation and development of the Yalutorovsk museum. It features unique collections formed in the 1950s–1990s, including antique copper castings, icons, numismatics, rare books, glass, and small bells. The second project is called 'Yalutorovsk Merchants in Service to the Fatherland' and is devoted to the major role of local merchants in the establishment of the town, its industry, architectural appearance and the history of the 'Trading Rows', as well as to philanthropists of the past.
