Museum of Modern Fortification "Bunker-703 of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs"
About museum
In 2018 a classified underground facility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with project number 703 was declassified and handed over as a museum. Located in the city center at a depth of more than forty meters, the bunker preserves unique artifacts and structures from the 1940s–1980s. An interactive Museum of Modern Urban Fortification is currently being created here, and lectures, exhibitions and educational quests are also held. This is the only place in Moscow where you can peer into a deep cast-iron shaft from the 1950s, activate a nuclear attack warning siren, or even budge a ten-ton special door with a single finger. Here you can have unforgettable experiences and immerse yourself in the past.
