Museum of the Villages of the Stavropol District
About museum
In 1978 a ceremonial opening of the Museum of the Villages of the Stavropol District took place; a two-story building was specially constructed for it. There visitors can learn about the everyday life and customs of the villagers, discover the history of the village's development, and become acquainted with the traditions passed down by our ancestors. The exhibition also presents information about Stepan Razin's uprising (1670–1671). At the entrance to the museum visitors are greeted by a sculpture depicting the hero's head.
