About museum

The museum began its activities in 1973 by combining the collections of three vocational educational institutions that are part of the State Educational Institution of Primary Vocational Education “Vocational School No. 3”, the State Educational Institution of Secondary Vocational Education “Kemerovo Technical College” and the State Professional Educational Institution “Siberian Polytechnic College”. In 2013 the museum began to form future exhibitions, and in 2019 a new exhibition, “The History of Robotics and New Professions of the Region”, was opened. The museum's holdings include documents and exhibits reflecting the history of Vocational School No. 3, Kemerovo Technical College and Siberian Polytechnic College. The museum also features the following expositions: “From the History of the Vocational Education System of the Kemerovo Region”, “Faithful to This Memory” and “Industrial Enterprises of Kemerovo: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”. The museum maintains a chronicle of alumni recollections and provides information about graduates of secondary vocational education.
