Mill Museum in Bugrovo village
About museum
A mill on the Lugovka River in the village of Bugrovo was built as early as the 17th century. In 1986 the "Water Mill" museum was opened here, and in 2007 it was restored. Currently the millers start the mill on weekends and public holidays, demonstrating the operation of the old mechanisms. Visitors can receive a commemorative packet of freshly milled flour. The Mikhaylovskoye manor museum is located near this mill. In Bugrovo village guests can visit the working water mill museum, see the antique mechanisms, and take part in a theatrical mill start-up. Visitors can take home a souvenir bag of freshly milled flour as a memento of their visit.
