About museum

The G.R. Derzhavin Laishovsky District Museum is located in the building of the Children's School of Arts on the basement floor. The museum's collections include 10,777 items found on the territory of the former Laishevsky Uyezd and Laishevsky District. Guided tours, master classes, event tourism and a theatrical performance depicting the era of Empress Catherine II are held here. The museum offers an opportunity to learn about the life and work of G.R. Derzhavin, as well as to immerse oneself in the character of the Russian province of the 18th century. A visit to the museum will bring true pleasure and allow you to enjoy wonderful historical monuments.
