Helen & Teddy Toy Museum
About museum
The Helen and Teddy Museum was named after Elena Kikteva, the founder and general director of the UNESCO Associated Schools “Interlingua”. It features 476 bears made of various materials — plush, plastic, wood, porcelain, and glass. The exhibition showcases different eras and countries. In the main hall you can see Teddy bears from England, Scotland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Denmark, and Japan. The “Shakespeare” hall presents an exhibition by Moscow craftswoman Alla Derepasova, whose main display of toys is dedicated to the English playwright. In this museum you will see bears from different countries and periods, and you will likely want to acquire one of them.
