About museum
The I. A. Bunin Museum is located in the wing of a 19th-century city manor, which is part of the Voronezh Regional Literary Museum named after I. S. Nikitin. In this house on October 22, 1870 the future Nobel Prize laureate in Literature, Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin, was born. The museum has two halls that introduce visitors to Bunin's images of the Motherland. They display authentic household items of the writer and his close circle, as well as original letters and photographs, and rare editions of I. A. Bunin's books. In the museum courtyard there is an exhibition area with original art objects on Bunin-related themes. The museum's exhibition tells about the writer's creative fate, the main themes of his works, and facts of his biography.
