About museum

In Russia there is a unique cultural and educational institution, the "House of Hats", specializing in the history of the traditional headwear of the world's peoples. More than 15 expeditions, including a round-the-world trip, were organized to assemble the collection. As a result, over 1,000 traditional headpieces from 50 countries were collected. In 2021 the museum was admitted to the Association of Private and Folk Museums of Russia.
