Masharov House Museum
About museum
Masharov House Museum is an old neoclassical mansion that belonged to N. D. Masharov — an industrialist and the founder of the iron foundry industry in Tyumen. It has the status of an architectural monument from the late 19th — early 20th century and is well appointed both in its exterior facades and interiors. Musical evenings and temporary exhibitions are regularly held in the cozy hall. The museum also offers a permanent exhibition 'Family Album', dedicated to family life at the end of the 19th century. During the tour, visitors will see objects from that era and learn about etiquette and upbringing practices in a traditional Tyumen family.
