The museum displays interesting exhibits, documents, photographs, and mementos that belonged to I. A. Milyutin. The Museum of Ivan Andreyevich Milyutin carefully preserves the memory of this distinguished public figure, industrialist, and educator. During his nearly half-century of activity in Cherepovets, many educational institutions, libraries, museums, pharmacies, shops, printing houses, almshouses, and care homes were opened. He also created a harbor, installed street lighting, and established telephone communications. The Northern Railway ran through the city entrusted to him. Milyutin's house is located on a high hill next to the main cathedral and overlooks the Sheksna River. The museum exhibits many interesting items, documents, photographs, and objects that belonged to Ivan Andreyevich Milyutin.
