The Museum of Military Glory has become a monument to the heroism and courage of our country's soldiers. The Museum of Military Glory has existed since 1981 and is an important historical monument for the people of Yaroslavl. The museum houses a permanent exhibition "Our Victory. Never Forget: Yaroslavl and Yaroslavl Residents during World War II." The museum's collections contain more than 500 exhibits, including personal belongings of celebrated local front-line veterans and various trophies. Of particular note are an anti-aircraft gun from an armored boat built at the Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant, a Shpagin submachine gun, and a collection of military equipment. Not far from the museum is a military memorial cemetery with monuments and commemorative steles, intended to commemorate the feat and courage of our country's soldiers.
