Amir Mazitov Museum

On December 10, 2005, the museum of Amir Nuriakhmetovich Mazitov was opened on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the artist's birth. The museum premises are the artist's former studio, which was expanded by annexing the former shop "Art Salon". Amir Nuriakhmetovich Mazitov (1928–1992) left a rich creative legacy, which is presented in the museum. The museum's exhibition consists of high-quality realist paintings of various genres: Tatarstan, Yaroslavl and Crimean landscapes, portraits, historical scenes and still lifes. In addition, the museum houses the artist's personal belongings. The museum is part of the Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution "Museum Complex of the City of Kazan".
