The museum's purpose is to commemorate the celebrated native and to foster patriotic education among young people. The museum includes halls dedicated to A.I. Pokryshkin, his combat career, his post-war activities, and a cinema hall. The collection contains historical materials: photographs, documents, objects, award documents, orders and medals, as well as photographs and documents related to the founding of the college. In the "Echo of War" hall there is a diorama "A.I. Pokryshkin's aerial battle in the skies over Kubar" made using items from the Great Patriotic War found by search teams from Kaliningrad Oblast. The A.I. Pokryshkin Museum provides an opportunity to enjoy the history and the celebrated biography of the famous pilot and three-time Hero of the Soviet Union.
