Moshkovsky Local History Museum
About museum
On May 18, 1989, the executive committee of the Moshkovsky District Council of People's Deputies decided to create a Museum of Military and Labor Glory. Since 1995 it has been a local history museum, and the exhibition includes sections dedicated to the history of Moshkovsky District. The museum holds more than 7,500 items, including collections of small bells and handbells, bells, coal-fired samovars, clocks, cameras, porcelain sculptures, Soviet-era artifacts, icons, and others. The museum also displays works by painters and applied arts craftsmen, as well as printed editions, for example a Psalter in Old Church Slavonic (1851) and a Bible (1913).
