Victory Memorial Park 'Pobeda' is one of the most visited places in the city of Cheboksary. Victory Memorial Park 'Pobeda' is located on a high bank of the Volga River in the city of Cheboksary. The park covers an area of 30 hectares. In 1980 the Monument to Military Glory with an eternal flame was unveiled; it is a bronze sculptural composition depicting a mother holding a red banner and a young soldier. The park also contains many other monuments, a remembrance alley, a museum of military equipment, an alley of heroes, the Chapel of Saint John, the Palace of Culture named after Petr Khuzangai, and a cascading fountain. The park is beautiful in any season and offers wonderful experiences for both children and adults. Here you can touch military equipment, see helicopters and tanks, or simply enjoy the tranquility.
