Memorial section of the village of Ustye
About museum
In Ustye, known since 1574, there is a memorial section that includes monuments of regional significance: the Sumarokov House (a traditional peasant house of the Pustozersk volost from the 19th–20th centuries) and the building of the Transfiguration Church (1837). The village also contains one of the last votive crosses of the Lower Pechora (1868). The Sumarokov House can only be visited as part of guided tours organized by the Pustozersk museum-reserve or during large public festive events. The church building is closed to visitors.
