Pereslavl Museum-Reserve Cultural and Exhibition Center
About museum
Located in the historic center of the town on the main street, the two-story 19th-century building transferred to the museum and converted for museum use in 2002 is today the largest creative venue in Pereslavl-Zalessky. It hosts exhibitions, creative workshops, festivals, celebrations and many other cultural events. The center is equipped with modern exhibition facilities that allow people to share ideas, exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge. It presents more than 30 exhibitions by contemporary artists, inter-museum projects, tours, master classes, creative meetings, presentations and concerts. In addition, each year it showcases archaeological finds from the season and hosts lectures by scholars, public meetings in the city, round-table discussions and conferences. Equally traditional is the November Arts Evening dedicated to National Unity Day, and in December the center invites young children to New Year exhibitions and Christmas performances.
