Kovrov Historical and Memorial Park 'St. John the Warrior Necropolis'

\r\nThe park is a true open-air museum exhibition. On the grounds of the former ancient necropolis, local residents have been buried here since the 15th century. In the quiet rustle of the leaves of the ancient trees you can discover many secrets and touch the cross dedicated to the princes of Kovrov, whose names gave the city its name. You can also visit the grave of the famous weapons designer V. A. Degtyarev and the memorial to Russian soldiers who were killed at the fronts and who died of wounds in Kovrov hospitals during the First World War, 1914-1916.
