The art gallery conducts educational and cultural activities, offering people of all backgrounds the opportunity to familiarize themselves with works of contemporary Russian and world culture and art. In 2005, at the initiative of the district head G. A. Golubeva, a plein air painting event was held in the village of Moshenskoye, which was attended by 18 artists from various cities across Russia. As a result, a decision was made to open an art gallery to which the artists donated their works. At present, the gallery's collection comprises more than 150 works. In addition, the gallery collaborates with the State Museum of Artistic Culture of the Novgorod Land. Here you can see not only works by professional artists but also creations by the young talents of the Moshensky District.
