The Historical and Museum Complex in the village of Shiryaevo is a unique place where visitors can learn about the life of a Volga peasant estate of the 19th century. The Ilya Repin House-Museum is open here, exhibiting his most famous paintings. The complex also displays examples of folk art from the 19th and 20th centuries that belonged to the poet Alexander Shiryaevets. It is a wonderful place for relaxation and travel, hosting a variety of cultural events and projects. Here you can see ancient wooden houses, a forge and a well.
