Sinara Art Gallery is one of the largest exhibition institutions in the Ural region, focusing on contemporary art. The gallery was founded in August 2004. The collection began to take shape as early as 2003 and is the first private collection in the region specializing in Ural art. The gallery's holdings include works in various genres representing different movements. The main ones are realism, impressionism, socialist realism, symbolism, nonconformism, expressionism, neo-avant-garde, and others. Sinara Art Gallery is an active participant in the region's artistic life. During its operation, more than 230 exhibition projects have been organized and held, including international exhibitions. Sinara Art Gallery is a cultural center offering a wide range of services for leisure activities. The gallery supports and develops various forms of event programming: workshops, artist-led and curator-led tours, lectures, creative meetings, music evenings, and discussion clubs. The renovated Sinara Art Gallery (formerly the Gallery of Contemporary Art) opened in the new city art space Sinara Center on September 12, 2019.
