About museum

FUTUROFUTURO Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery in Nizhny Novgorod. It is located in the historic city center on the second floor of the former income house of the City Society — a monument of 19th-century architecture and urban planning. The gallery's main hall is a unique ruined interior that preserves the spirit of the ages.

The gallery opened in 2016. It currently functions as an exhibition space with large-scale curated projects, a lecture hall, a cinema, a concert and theater venue, an art incubator, and a showroom.

FUTURO's mission is to promote talented practitioners of contemporary art. The multi-format space works with both established and emerging artists, focusing on the high quality of their works and the uniqueness of their artistic strategies.
